What were they thinking? This card of Warren Spahn (Topps 1956 #10) shows him as the male accomplice to the 50 foot woman who terrorized cities in a 1958 movie.  Warren Spahn partnered with her and inflicted lethal damage to major cities by throwing baseballs at skyscrapers.

Spahn did some real damage on the baseball field by getting 363 wins in his career with 13 twenty game seasons.  He was very productive even in his final years by winning more games after age 35 than Sandy Koufax did in his entire career. He appeared in a record 14 All-Star games and had two no-hitters. He is the winningest left-handed pitcher of all time. This remarkable feat is contrasted by the fact that he was within six losses of being the losingest pitcher of all time. This distinction is held by Eppa Rixey. Koufax has one more loss than Steve Carlton.
